Maundy Thursday

Just back from Maundy Thursday vigil, organised and led by college students. Was held this year at Holy Sepulcher Church, a beautiful but intimidating building.

Sang in the (pseudo) choir and played my trumpet at the end. A real privilege.
Then Maccas with some students before heading back to the church.

My mind moves too fast
It doesn’t always cope with slowing down
Praying slowly
Waiting
Speaking and listening
But practice makes better
And I for one am glad
For sacred moments
