Cathedral One

As I write this I am listening to the cathedral choristers practice for tonights evensong. They sound glorious.
After a morning mostly made up of staff meetings etc (lesson: cathedral staff are exceptionally busy) I have been helping this afternoon with making some effort toward decorating the Christmas tree. Using the lift was fun but nerve racking. Hazards include falling, tipping, or driving into Grade One historic building or artifacts.
I have use of the bishop’s car for ten days while she is overseas. An unexpected treat.
Tomorrow (assuming I figure out how to drive here) I expect more of the same.
So far it hasn’t been too scary.
Phew.
