Goodbye, friend

One of the most incredible blessings I received last year  was the gift of a car, at just the time when my old car had died. A car. For free. We’ve travelled well together but warrants were starting to get expensive with repeated rust problems. Rust is the cancer of cars. An expensive cancer.

So, I’ve decided to be carless for the foreseeable future of my time here at St Johns. Having no car is cheaper for the student-sized wallet, and the bus and train service is pretty handy. Getting to and from the supermarket is a bit of a pain, and I’ll miss the flexibility of easy trips to the airport, other churches etc, but I am not sad. My silver bullet was an incredible blessing.
