My life on Facebook

This graphic represents my 51 Facebook status updates from the last month. I really don’t know why I do it. Why live my live so publically? Why share so much with people I don’t really know?

Is it just an addiction? A fad?

Or is it something more?

Could Facebook be maybe a window to something essential? That need for community? That need to be noticed? To know that we are not forgotten? Are we so hungry for relationship that we are addicted to following our friend’s movements? For sure, sociologists will be evaluating the internet revolution for decades to come.

If you aren’t on Facebook, you can at least follow my updates to the right hand side of my blog. I improved things to make things easier.  Or subscribe to the rss feed of them here.
