Saw the movie ‘Once’ at the Penthouse Cinema today (despite the gorgeous weather outside).

Having heard Glen Hansard play with his band ‘The Frames’ as they did an exceptional job of opening for Bob Dylan downtown, I was keen to catch the film before it finished its run.

Beautiful music, quaint little film with some gorgeous Irish accents.

It gave me a stunning snapshot of Ireland, the scenery and the people and made me wonder how well New Zealand sells itself (more than just stunning scenery) in film…

In other exciting news we finally decided on colours for the offices here. This process has literally taken months. Never, ever, ever choose colours by committee. A painter is now at work in my office with preparations to apply white, blanc, half drought and drought.
