2005: Year of the remakes

Looks like 2005 will be the year of the movie remake…

Peter Jackson is working on Kong (been done twice already)
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is coming (been a tv series)
Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe (done previously by BBC)
Charlie and the Chocolae Factory (Tim Burton with Jonny Depp)

I guess it’s true… there are no more original stories to tell.
